Default Painting the Front License Plate Cover

Lost my cover, so I bought a NBM cover, and was going to have it painted. Well it's been a year now and still no paint, so I thought that since I did the CETA bumper to my car, why not do the same to the cover but in White? Anyone ever do this? If so where did you get the paint from and how easy was it to do? My car is Artic White.
