Default Duplicolor

I've got some rock chips on my hood and one or two on my drivers side door from country roads w/ gravel on them that i used to take while the T.A was my daily driver... has anyone ever used the duplicolor touch up pen to sort of minimize the appearance, if so how did it turn out? As long as i fill in any of these spots that are completely white with a shade of red then i can't see how it could look any worse. I don't want to repaint my hood because i plan on getting a WS6 hood w/ some blackbird stripes put on as soon as i can afford it after the LTs and TDs. I just want it cleaned up a bit for the time being. Anyone got any experience?
