Default Out of my realm; need help.

I've done some under hood painting with the stock polyurethane. Was wondering how long is a safe period to wait to start bolting stuff to it. I of course don't want stuff to pull the paint up with it when I take it back off later on, as I take stuff apart often. I have to bolt a vacuum manifold down, as well as other stuff I've added. I mixed the ratios recommended by the paint supply store as well as the can, and have the room at approx 110 degrees. Any help is greatly appreciated Boone...

three days to be safe. sometimes when you tighten thing too early after you bolt stuff up days later you will see cracking where the bolt turned the clear.

I did not shoot any clear coat since the rest of the under hood was seemingly dull looking. But to be safe I will wait 3 days as you suggested. What do you think the max temp is that I could heat the room up to, to cure the paint. Thanks bud. Boone.

I bake my stuff and 145 for 35 min. When i did not have a booth and would paint small stuff i would put it inside a car sitting outside here in houston in the summmer it will easily bake it. By stock polyurithane you mean you just base coated it?

If all you sprayed was the basecoat you can bolt it up three hours later depending on how many coats you put if they were light coats it will cure faster if they were heavy coats then just wait 24hrs.

Ya just a couple coats of primer, then three light coats of poly base. It's been since about 3:00pm this afternoon.
