you might not have to paint it again. you could use a little bit of paint thinner. just wipe down the bumper. it should get most of the crap off. if that doesnt work you just sand the clear a lil bit and shoot a fresh coat of clear.

Light sand with 1200 grit and buff. Do that first.

Where you located? That is a POS buffer from Wal-Mart. You need a more professional one. If you close my husband can take care of that for you. PM me.

Okay so you live a gillion miles away not a big deal. LOL Honestly it will work but don't have any high expectations. It would eliminate most of that mess that's for sure. Seems like you are up for a complete paint job. That should do the job for now.

It'll be fine. You need a better buffer though. That's a must. You will notice the difference...

Try a clay bar, from say Mother's or McGuire's, to remove the bugs and dirt from the surface. Then some 3M rubbing compound with your buffer to remove some left over blemishes and scratches, then wax. It won't be perfect, but it should clean a bunch of the bug stuff, tar, and remove some light scratches. It's also safer than wet sanding IMO, just don't run the buffer in one spot too long, and keep your eye on the pad, if it turns red, you burned through the clear. That's what I do on mine.

You can try that method if you have never used a good buffer. You might burn it.
