Default help with shine

ok i painted my roof black and when it dryed i wet sanded all the imperfections. I later put on clearcoat and then later compound/wax..
When it drys, it still looks dull. After i wipe off the wax its nice and shiny but then it drys to look like crap. Anything i can get to makeit shine permanent??

wet sand with 2000 then use an orbital buffer with some 3m finishing compound then with a final glaze.
