I know a state trooper who uses this stuff. After putting this on his car he only sprays it off at a car wash. He no longer has to wipe any dirt off just spray and go. After he sprays his car it looks like he spent all day washing and waxing. But he said he uses the 5 star shine about once a year not every 5.

You can still wash and detail your car the same as always. This is just added protection. If dirt will just rinse right off before you give it the normal wash and detail it should help from scratching and swirling the paint. I've never used this stuff though so i cant say for sure how good it works. I just know my friends trooper car looks good and them cars see alot of abuse and always sit outside. I dont think i would only do it every 5 years though i dont buy that part.

i wax my car once a week to keep it as shiny as possible and i enjoy doing that. I also wash my car 2-3 times a week depending on the weather. All my friends and family make fun of me so much but then again all of there cars look like TOTAL **** IMO.
