Default Painting my wheels

Hey guys!

I have a set of Torque Thrust IIs and they look beautiful when they are polished. Unfortunately, they stay clean for about 3 hours due to them being straight aluminum. I talked it over with my dad and he thought we might be able to clear coat them. However, the only clears I know of will only bond to paint. Does PPG make a clear that will keep my wheels looking beautiful and stay bonded to aluminum?

Thanks in advance!

Alsa claims it will work on chrome. Will it have the same effect on aluminum?

Thanks for the link, by the way.

Yeah I've tried some polishes and stuff but I'm really looking for some kind of permanent protection so I can just wash them like washing a car, just rub the dirt off and they're perfect.

EDIT- but thanks for the suggestion

I want to do this also when I get my TT2's because I am not going to have time to polish them all the time. My stock clearcoated polished wheels always look nice after washing. I would like to get the same kind of clearcoat that was on them. Is it possible to get the same factory clearcoat that was put on the stock wheels from a dealer or anywhere else?
