Need Advice with detailing I'm really afraid of damaging / tainting my paint over time by using a bad brand name of wax or etc etc.. What can I do aside from washing my car to give it that extra shine without damaging my paint or any other lasting effects?
Wizards makes a product call 'Mist-N-Shine'. You can pick it up for about $18 (I believe) a bottle at NAPA.
Just wash your car and get all the bugs and junk off. Than dry it with an appropriate towell (nothing that will scratch of course)
Than just spray the Mist-N-Shine and wipe it with a micro-fiber towell. It works GREAT and very safe as long as you are using the right kind of towells to wipe and dry. Just a couple of squirts is all you need for each panel.
