high humidity and new paint

high humidity and new paint Its been pretty humid out the last couple of days and I swear my car is looking hazy. It was painted last week, and I washed it this morning as it got rained on last night and I didn't want water spots screwing anything up. If its not raining in the morning I'll pull it out to get a better look, but can high humidity cause it to appear hazy?

I'm pretty sure. When I inquired about waxing he told me there was a special wax on the car, and though I could wash it not to wax it for thirty or so days.
