I'm looking towards buying a 2000 z/28 and a 1993 z/28 right now, one for my DD and one for a weekend bruiser. I like the looks of the lt1 but obviously the power of the ls1 more. So can I swap the front ends over using nothing more than what the cars already have (brackets, bolts, etc.)? And will the lt1 hood (stock/Harwood cowl) clear the air lid (stock/SLP)? Thanks

 

yes, they will swap over with the brackets and all from the newer model car to your car.....as far as the hoods i honestly dont know about that but the front end swap will work !

 

How about the hood? Could you actually do something like take an LT1 bird and make it look like an LS1 WS6?

 

yea the camaro's and bird's interchange into their newer style looks, you can chance the front ends on both of them...
