Just test fitted my Sunoco Hood (97 Camaro). The portion of the cowl that slopes back torward the windshield is hitting the plastic fairing in front of the wipers causing the outside corners of the hood to be about 1 inch above where they should be. The only solution appears to be notch either the hood or the fairing. Anyone have any similar experiences and or solutions. This fairing design appears to be unique to the 97 Camaro because it is a different design on my 2000 Camaro. Thanks in advance for any responses.
