Single stage better?
for solids id use single stage paint personaly, because it really doesnt looking any different than a bc/cc job. Which would easily be twice that at my shop, or 4x that at most other shops.
Single stage is indeed the cheap way of doing it. Paint is less expensive, less time spent on spraying, and it is simpler for the cut-n-buff (don't have to worry about burning through the clear
). I'd paint my wife's minivan or my truck with single stage, but my Camaros get base/clear...
