Default lacquer paint?

Is it any good....i was wondering if i could use it to paint some pieces. Its pretty cheap at autozone.

Depends on what pieces, and if you expect it to match. If you're dead set on saving money, I can't stop you, but I should tell you that I think lacquer paint is crap: dulls quicker, chips easier, etc.

Laquer is about 90% thinner to like 10% pigment. It takes so many coats to give a decent base. Not only that but they dont sell good quality thinner anymore. If i'm not mistaken they are making it illegal due to that ozone regulation crap.

Oh and I forgot to tell you lacquer will shrink on you.

About the only thing that it is good for is an accelerant for starting brush fires. But for paint on your car you might as well use latex.

I don't know what your going to paint but you might want to try the spray enamel used to refinish refridgerators and stoves.
