i guess go pick up some like plastic x or whatever the headlight restorer **** is they make at autozone. use that stuff to polish it back out. Try wetsanding with 1200, once u have the black gone switch to 2000. Then follow the instructions on the headlight stuff

Yeah..... ide say try wetsanding with the finest grit first and if it isnt helping go a litle coarser i wouldnt go below 1200 though... varies on yer application with the vht niteshade.... if its thin then ide try like a 1500 first... i usually use the meguiars plastic crap.. works alright.... definitely use a buffer though comes out so much better...
wet the light and wet the paper... It scratches the light lightly.... but you can polish it out... go to any parts store they shoudl have it... i always use the meguiars....
when yer done wet sanding... let it dry.... With the meguiars i usually globe a bit on... buff it until its almost gone... then add some more... and do that about four or five times... it polishes in quick with a buffer... i just would go nuts with it or youll be rubbing it in forever

Ultra fine 0000 steel wool and lots of water, rub like hell lightly over and over until you get it off layer by layer. Buff out with a clear glaze like Meguires and you can use it instead of water as well.
I'd never start with even 2000 wet paper until I tried the steel wool first. Too deep too fast and yer screwed.

if you know someone in a body shop, have them 600 them down with a da and then re-clear them with regular clear coat and the will look better than new. ive done this atleast a dozen times for other people.
