tumblr - have you messed with any other colors for the flames or the flames on any other colors? i saw a thread awhile back where you posted pics of a bunch of stuff you did, but it was all blue flames on black...im interested in some other color combos...could it happen?

i live in abilene, but my parents live on the north side of houston, so i could get my vehicle to you if you were interested in being put to work.

Yes, how do you charge and what it cost you to do true fire over flat black? Pm me if you would like, I don't plan on painting until at least 5 months, but maybe earlier depending on how fast I do this project.

Price is detirmined by size of job...also by custom popularity in an area
Skill level has a lot to do with EGO...lol i know a guy who charges a grand by the FOOT for true fire wich usually turns out to around 8/9 grand cuz who just wants a foot of it on there car? and people WILL pay it....in my opinion thats a RIP OFF...for $800 i wud do the entire car not including prep and clear by a DIFFERENT sourse. im not really a body man....so id trust a proffessional for that stuff.

Wolfy- most of my projects have been a cool color above a black or darker surface because in my opinion it looks best...but i have worked with other color combos. ill try and get some pics of those. PM me and let me me know ur thoughts

Thank you TransAmMan...i have charged $240 in the past for nitrous bottle...thats everything included. Pm me for more spacific details

Doomzday- pm me with more spacific thoughts...but we can def work over flat black.

I'd charge a grand to do the airbrushing if the car was already based and someone else was clearing it and buffing it.

wow, this site is a bunch of bs. There is clearly prices being talked about here and he is not a sponser, and nothing happens. Now me...well just look under my name. I didn't even mean to mention any specifics in my thread. Hell, I really like Tumblr so I don't want to get him in trouble. But I just wanted to share what I think of the people "running" the show on this site.

oh, and thats all I have to say...I don't have time to argue with anyone over the net...I was even going to become a sponser for custom paint, but the mods still were giving me the cold shoulder. Well, enjoy your "power." lol

hell i don't even have a PM function, what a joke. Oh, and Bryan Parbreak, I hope your reading this thread. Because of you, I have no PM. You dam well know what I'm talking about. Sparknotes: He was all pissed because I was charging very little money compared to him for doing custom work...a reasonable price.

Whistler is a Sponsor on this site and has every right to talk pricing. Tumblr, asked for a PM to discuss pricing. You need to chill out Kandy and you forgot to mention the real reason you're pissed at me: I wouldn't supply you with pre-cut fuel rail covers( I have the PMs to prove it.)

Any other pricing issues dealing with non-sponsors will be dealt with as soon as I read the thread.

I also would like to see some tru fire FRC's on a base other than black - preferably a red. Black FRC's in my engine bay would be too subdued - need red base to go with my red/silver accent thru out the car...
