Caliper Paint Procedure / Precautions?
Caliper Paint Procedure / Precautions? I am currently working on painting my calipers on my Z28.
I cannot fully remove the caliper due to a few reasons, so I will be painting with the caliper still mounted in place.
Therefore, I need suggestions as to what procedure I should take to go about this.
What Will I need to Tape off from getting painted?
Is there any serious reason where it is mandatory to take off the caliper to paint it?

i used brake cleaner, sand paper, wire brush, and wiped it clean before painting....check out this for a how-to on the car man

i would also recommend a paper plate to use for keeping overspray to a minimum....i also broke out a tarp to wrap over the fender so i didn't get any overspray on the car
