There is a huge differance in the way a flat car looks, and a primer car

Notice there is still some shine in the paint, its just has alot less gloss

Primer doesnt really reflect at all, and turns ash like and looks like crap very fast and offers no protection against moister=rust

Notice the shitty looking cars are using primber, and the nicer cars are using real paint with less gloss in it..

I love flat black cars. The primer ones look less than awesome, but if it is a work in progress it is better to go performance before looks and not everyone can afford everything at once so if they afford to get it primered and have to wait a little bit to get painted, whats wrong with that?

True, but as for me I save up until I have enough for the project plus a little extra for -when- something doesn't go as planned. Sucks to wait forever to save up enough but it's worth it afterwards since the job is done right the first time, usually.
