Default cracked ws6 hood help!!
i have a ws6 hood that is cracked where the latch is, do they sell anything that fixes this? thanks for any help

fiberglass, and matting would prob be best route, or v it out and use fusor heat set, if its not cracked that bad

Do not use fiberglass resin. It will not bond properly to SMC which is what the WS6 hood is made of. I use Evercoat brand SMC resin with the fiberglass mat. Adheres really well and no shrinkage.

Do not use polyester fiberglass resin, but epoxy resin with a little fiberglass will work awesome.

same problem with my hood, i got it off a wrecked car, used somthing simular to fusor and it worked great.

I have a little crack on my firehawk's hood as well. . . . .drives me crazy

epoxy liquid weld is the best thing to use, easy to work with, clear finish,holds strong
