i dont think i would reccomend a guitar string. they are metal correct

Hair dryer / fishing line... wrapped it around my bare hands... for my side-moldings same to remove badges though.. Spray the badge down with wd40 and let sit for a second then go at it will help loosen that glue up.

dude. a guitar string will ruin your paint.

hose it with bug and tar remover.. the spray kind.. let it sit.. then use fishingline very slowly

A NYLON guitar string is the same thing as fishing line, only thicker. You could probably find a higher test, thicker fishing line as well, but this is all really just McGiver tips for getting it off with the materials you have at hand. Dental floss, fishing line... its all gonna get the job done. It just really comes down to personal preference and saving money on materials.

As far as why anyone would want to de-badge a WS6, it would probably be if they were painting the rear and wanted to remove the badge without hurting it so they could re-install it when finished. Or perhaps someone stuck a WS6 badge on a standard TA that now has a Ram Air hood and now the owner wants to be freed of the guilt of driving a clone.
