we just use a red scuff pad with scuff n clean, then seal and paint it

A friend actually just stopped over that works at the dealer body shop and thats what he recommended. He said just to scuff it then seal and paint.
I started workin on the fender today I got it all sanded and rdy for the high build. Although its prob strait enough I want to block it once.

yeah usually bumpers dont need to be primed and blocked but it wouldnt hurt.

I just finished scuffing the bumper and going over it with 600. Its pretty much rdy for sealer now ill post a pic in a min.

A forum is for members to help out members right??? I wanted some suggestions. Yes I've painted a bumper b4 but I wanted some suggestions for maybe a better way or faster way of painting this new gm bumper. Figured there might be some guys on here that work in body shops and paint bumpers like this all the time. The tips here and there helped me come to the conclusion of the way I wanted to go about it. So I appretiate all the replies and they did help me out.

If you dont go through you dont have 2 that is why. I wouldnt of went through at all but there was some spots I wanted to hit with sand paper to even them out some. Maybe you didnt know this 1 was already primered? I did not say you was wrong I said if you dont go through you dont have to use adhesion promoter did that make you angry?
