Default Berger gone wrong

I'm in the process of repainting the back panel semi-gloss black... and after priming and spraying it (2 coats of each), I'm seeing darker lines in the paint, which I figured were just going to dry with a little more time. Well 3 hours later they are still there, and I'm pretty sure I just applied the coats too heavy, am I just gonna have to sand it down to the primer and start over? Or can this mistake be salvaged and just apply several more light coats?

By "lines" do you mean lighter and darker shades?...Or actually raised lines of paint. If its raise, you will need to sand it back down, if its just shades, you can probably work it out with more coats. Many light coats is the way to go.

sand er down and start over, that means that you didnt clean the surface properly and some residue is there.

it looks like one constant level of paint up close, but different shades... i guess ill go back downstairs and spray it lightly over... how many coats should i do? 2 or 3 more really light ones? or just enough to make the discoloring go away.

when i had the primer on there it looked completely flawless... i nearly put it on the car it primer only because it looked so perfect, I'm pretty sure the prep wasn't the bad step, i wet sanded the bejesus out of it (let it dry, spotted still glossy spots and redid them) with 400 grit wet sanding paper... It just looks like i didnt evenly apply the spray paint
