+1 on the paint care thing, that looks badass. I hate X 9384673294867 my gloss black and have really thought about switching to flat. If you used a flat compatible clear coat I don't see why it would be any different to take care of than a gloss paint? Someone who knows, please enlighten us. Could also produce some sweet CETA panels with contrast.

Flat and satin clears need not to be waxed or buffed ever or they will then shine. Just washing. Very easy care, but I would use a reputable name in clear as it will never have the protection of a wax.

you can get the flat black look with a basecoat/clearcoat paint. paint the car gloss black or if its already gloss black, you add talc to the clearcoat and spray it over the gloss black. the more talc you add, the lower the gloss. and you will still have a smooth durable finish. i only know this because i used to work at a paint plant in the lab.
