Colorblind man needs help(UPDATE)...
Getting a ram air hood and buying the paint myself. What color is my car and even more important, what might the paint code be for my color. Did a little research and found a "flame red" code #81/WA8774. Is this right? Thanks guys!
(UPDATE)Ended up going w/ the 8774 code and it seems to be perfect. Had the guy install the hood today and after just a little fitting(wanted to do more but it was raining cats and dogs) it is now on. It seemed to be a little lighter then the rest of my car when we first put it on. After driving 80 miles home in the rain it seemed to match up well when it was dirty like the rest of my car. Will get pictures up ASAP.

I'm shade blind. Have a hard time telling the subtle differencies between colors. So I've heard the terms "torch red","bright rally red","flame red", thrown around and seen them all side by side and can't tell the difference. So I just want to make sure my hood comes out the same color as my car haha. Oh......and not painting it myself, just buying the paint for it

I feel your pain. I have sat for countless hours arguing with my friends over the colors of cars that are red/orange or dark green/purple/or blue (they look black to me).

On a side note, my brother is who shade blind like myself just bought a contour sport. We went and looked at it, never asked the guy the color because it looked plain as day black to us. Ended up getting it home and right when our sister saw it she asked....."why did you get a purple car" hahahahahahahahaha. Turns out the color was "black cherry". Still can't tell to this day but it's a nice little daily driver.
