what about doing a matte (glossy flat) black solid anniversary stripes on my onyx black SS. Ive been toying with the idea but haven't been able to find a find a stencil to use to lay it out on the car.
my paint is jacked from sitting outside all its life. but now that i have a place to store it, i want to do the paint.

If its done right it will look awesome, if not it will look like the cheapest maaco paint job you've ever seen. If you have the time and money then do it, do it right and post some pics. Either way please don't put a ram air trans am hood on your camaro!!

I think the Camaro would look good flat black. I've seen another Camaro flat black with the 69 Z28 Badges and it looked pretty sweet.

go for it, but do it right. there's a fine line between "flat-black-murdered-out-badass" and "primered-can't-afford-good-paint-looking-for-euro-tail-lights-gay"

there's a C6 for sale on here that's factory black, with black wheels that have red pinstripes on them, just like my old '05 Yamaha Raven R6. THAT is a SICK look when done right. i say go for it and never look back.

Thats a Ferrari.

yea lots of good feedback on this. I was also looking around and saw HidalgoZ's car and he has a black z with flat black berger, spoiler, and stripes. I was thinking it would look pretty cool if i did a manta stripe..flat black that extends to the hatchback and do the berger mod. Does this sound like it would be tight or just stupid... O and yes if i do do this i am going to be putting down A LOT of money to make it look badass

To me its a waist of good paint, if there is nothing wrong with yours its kind of pointless to do that to it..
