installing new window. . .
installing new window. . . so, as some of you might have read in multimedia my driver side window was shattered - well my question to you all is does anyone know how to replace that window or have a guide for doing as such? - I'm replacing the window motor while i'm in there (figured since the windows gone it would be easy) so i'm ready for a long haul of a project.

window replacement is not as bad as you think.after you remove the door panel you need to drill out the rivet's that hold the motor and regulator in place.wiggle it until you can fit it thru the largest hole in the door [works better if the arms are in the window down position] drill out the rivets that hold the motor to the regulator [best to stand on arms to keep the spring from releasing and breaking YOUR arm] reinstall your new motor to the regulator using the machine screws that came with it in same position you took the old one off.using 1/4 x 1" nuts and bolts put the regulator back in the door.roll up about half way.back off on all the felt tiped holders at top of door.slide the new glass in at an angle towards the front of the car.then slide back and forth until you get back on the rollers.adjust all the felt tipped slides until they are snug to the glass.make sure the glass goes up and down freely.and reinstall door panel.....that's about it
