Ok, LS1Tech community, here's your chance to see your ideas get put to work...I'm gunna be getting some custom stripes painted on my car, but I'm not a very creative individual, so I wanna hear some ideas from you guys.


Car:
99 red z28, regular Z28 hood
SS rims
Silver calipers with red "Camaro" lettering on them


I'm thinking the stripes should be silver to match the calipers.


Give me your ideas!

Sorry dude, but stripes just don't look very good on Z28 hoods, so unless you are thinking about some hockey or dick harrell stripes I would advise that you either get another hood or reconsider, just an opinion though

If I was doing stripes on a 4th gen Z hood I think doing ones similar to the early 2nd gen stripes would look nice. Although, I am a huge 2nd gen fan so that may skew my taste a little. Also not sure about silver over red unless it's a darker silver, but it's your car so YOU should like it not me. Big fat runway stripes (read first gen style) might look cool on the hood too.

Oh, I've seen a ton of Z28s with stripes that I think look amazing.

I'm not a fan of stripes on the F-Body. That's more of a mustang thing. Just my thoughts. Hopefully someone can post of some pictures up good looking F-Bod's with stripes.

That's a nice car. I would love to get the SS hood, but as always, money is an issue.


EDIT:

Maybe there's another appearance mod I can do? My interior is cloth, maybe I should do something with that first, instead?
