A Green SS

I picked up a wrecked 2000 SS. I have been thinking about painting it a dark green. Did they ever make a green SS and anybody out there with one? I'd like to get an idea of what it may look like.

IMO I would not paint it that color, I would go with a metallic charcoal Grey but thats just me

Green would be different. Far as i know they had polo green and bright green metallic. They don't look bad but I'd go with hugger orange. It's a classic color and will never die.

I think a green one would look good. I like the green color that comes on the 99-04 (dare I say?) Mustangs.

No they never made a green SS. Green only came on z28s & V6's. Though painting it green will make it look sick. I like the Bright Green Metallic that my car is, it's different.

I think if done with tasteful mods British Racing Green would look great on a Camaro.

Dark green is pretty vague.. Polo green is pretty boring

I was thinking polo green with some silver stripes. But the more i think about it the more i don't like the idea. I want something that will stand out.

IMO i would repaint in the SOM...but that's followed by white...and then red / black...

good luck with whatever you go with though.

I just sold my 78 TA that i painted sunset orange. So the SOM color is kinda old to me. Car is already red, and i just see to many red camaros. Been thinking about Volecity Yellow with some black berger style stripes.
