polishing machined lip rim???

Default polishing machined lip rim???

how difficult would this be???

has anyone tried this and how much maintenance would be involved?

i already know it's very time consuming i plan on it being a winter project

It shouldnt be hard at all. All you need is some 800 1000 1500 2000 grit sand paper and start with the 800 and work your way up. When you get up to 1500 and 2000 you can wet sand and it seems to help me. After you get the surface nice and smooth no pits or sand scratches you can start to polish with something like busch aluminum polish or any others you might want to try.
