Default Fresh paint care?

I will get my CME back from the paint shop soon and was wondering if there is any additional care I should use for a certain period of time?

Is it ok to drive in the rain? When can I wash it like normal?

Thanks

If the finish was baked in a booth then simply treat it like any other part of your car.

yeah if it was baked completely you can treat it like any part of the car. just find out how long until you can wax the cme. each paint manufactuer has their own specs on waxing.

You can wash it, but usually wait a couple of weeks before you wax it.

ppg cure time is this after baking at 160 for 1 hour, cool off for an hour, and wait 30 days before waxing
so in the meantime, use a poilsh, not wax

X2. Best thing to use till the 30 days are up is Wizards Shine Master(breatheable polish and sealant).
