Shaving Pontiac off headlight cover

I am going to shave off the Pontiac on the head light cover. Just wondering if there is anything I need to know before hand. Thanks

Not much. Just remove the headlight cover, use a hammer and dolly to flatten it out. Skim it with a little metal glaze, prime and paint!
Here's what it looks like.
