That sounds interesting. It might turn purple under certian light, kinda how SOM seems to turn gold at weird angles. That sounds cool as hell.

If you're looking to add some type of effect you will probably like the looks of adding a red pearl to the clear rather than just red, I really don't think its going to make the color flip flop at all. I would def do some test panels first as the only thing I've tinted clear with are pearls, maybe someone with more experience could chime in on this one.
