CETA paint job with bumper in place?
Hey, all...
How many of you painted your bumper for that black CETA look... without removing it?
Any horror stories? Or is it worth a try?
I'm fairly lazy and not obsessive about the result; I'll be using a flat black.

also did mine on the car. I taped it off, then sanded lightly with 1000 grit sand paper, cleaned it with a wax remover, then washed it with soap and water, and sprayed it with black rattle can paint. I think I used duplicolor gloss black car and truck paint.

Did mine on the car as well, put the rear up on jack stands and taped everything off with some garbage bags that I didn't want to get overpray on. Just take your time prepping it, and the rest is easy.
