Paint Scheme Opinion I am considering getting this car. The deal is $13.5 K with the car at 56K miles. Comes with the original rims and wheels + car cover. But this hood is killing me! What do you think? The car is not a WS6.
I can either: 1) Leave it as is
2) Repaint it to make it all red
3) Continue the single fat stripe just down a few inches to the intake and round it out.

Wow! That stripe is all wrong
, if it were me I would paint the outsides and between the snorkels red(just the flat parts of the hood). Then carry that theme onto the nose in the rounded part. I tend to like stripes though when done right to add a compimentary contrast. The other thing I would do is paint it all red but I definitaly would not leave it like that. I am wondering what someone was thinking when they commisioned that piece, maybe they were not and that was the problem.

Leave scoop in black and paint the part of the ram air bumper in black too. I'd also redo the bumper. Different shades of red. Could be lighting. I would also continue the stripe to the rear. Thats what I have plan for when I find a hood for mine. Looking for SS or Harwood hood. Got money just no one selling.

ummmm... I think you should get it painted red. then paint just the raised part of the hood in black with the firebirds on the end. i think there is a stock stripe kit for that
