Default Is this bumper repairable or will it need replaced

This is the first time I've shown the bad side of my car. I know the fender totally needs replaced as it is missing chunks, but the bumper cover is all there, just cracked and warped. Is that something that is repairable at all or do I need to replace it? I know some of the brackets underneath need replaced, that's why it sits funny. Pardon the cellphone pics.

Just to set the records straight, it was this way when I got the car, I wasn't responsible for this damage

Replace it along with the fender. That is a bad spot for a repair, it's a stress point at it will more than likely jsut crack again.

I agree, but try to get a real GM one from a salvage yard, versus ordering crap from ebay. The import ones on ebay will fit about like that one does now.

Plus that some of the aftermarket ones don't even say camaro on the front

That's what I figured, but me not being a body man wasn't sure. I plan on OEM parts, while the aftermarket bumper not saying camaro doesn't bother me much (since I have to have a grill or something to mount the plate to) but the possible fitment issues don't make me want to risk it.

It would cost more to try and save it. If it was on a 67 GTO, maybe. 99 Camaro? Replace.

Road trip?

Shipping is a pain on body panels too. I have this feeling I won't be able to fix it this year due to financial reasons. It isn't so much the cost of the panels, but the paint (and my car needs a lot of it). College costs are going up again and while I'm making some decent money this summer with my internship most if not all of it is going towards college At least it is my final year, then I'll be out of school, with a total full-time job, and while I'll have loans to pay off it won't be in $4000 chunks.
