I had one that started with a visible wrinkle in the lip of the quarter and went up about 9", varying between fainter and more visible. I had it PDR'd out and installed SFC's and it hasn't come back.

You can tell the difference between these and dings. There is no apparent point of contact on these creases. The are "softer" in shape than dents or dings.

So is the best way of repairing them to hammer/anvil em back out or to fill? It seems a PDR fix would just make it happen all over again. What SFCs did you get; and how long has it been, RevGTO??

Depending on your driving habits and modifications, this almost seems like an eminent occurence.

I have UMI 2 point weld-ins.
But I noticed today that I have a fresh crop of dimples on the top of my right rear quarter panels. I don't know if they're from my last trip to the track or the 700 mile round trip I did this week. The crease has stayed away.

I consider the dimples on top of the quarters a maintenance item. I'll have them PDR'd out again once track season is over.

I have these on both of mine. I have 3 point SFC on the T/A but they are impossible to avoid I think. Oh well, part of driving these cars, adds character.

I have them as well and I have the UMI SFC's that are for T-Tops. They have not increased however I made them worse trying to get them out lol. I was going to clean it up before repainting the car but after reading this I am def going to get some of that spec expanding foam and out in in between there to try and help. I hate these.

I only have them on the passenger side though.

Sou wouldn't filling them instead of popping em out kinda prevent it better? If it's gonna be dented, let it dent and stay dented, right??? Then let the filler smooth the surface out.
