Fixing a scratch So I'm planing on eventually getting my front bumper repainted, due to a lack of clearcoat and a decent size scratch, but I was wondering if there is any way I could fix this scratch in the meantime while I'm getting the funds together to get it repainted.

Its down past the paint, you can get some touch up paint from your local auto parts store or automotive paint store and fill the scratches. Just get the paint code from your car and you can get the correct paint. Its not going to match perfect but it will look better.
Thinner would probably take the black out at least, anything else you could just feather out with a DA.... prime and blend. Touch up paint works ok, but doesnt want to lay down all that well, and rarely matches.
IMHO I'd just wait till you paint the whole thing. You might want to try some clay bar if you have some and then buff it, but I wouldn't spend a lot of time on touch up. It's not going to match and you'll just have to sand it back off when you refinish the bumper. That just my two cents, I hate doing things twice....
