Default fuel rail covers

Painted my fuel rail covers today to match the car. Ive got some mirrored firehawk emblems on the way to finish them off. Here is what i have so far tell me what you think.

you filled in the vette logo, not a bad idea on the pontiac.. what did you end up using?

I think its called poly flex glazing putty. We had some at work and i just used it.

Should be fine so long as you dont try to twist it into a spiral.

ya we will see. Do you think i need heat tap on the buttom? I was debating weather do do it or not.

I already have headers.


ohhhh! header wraps....
no tape on the bottom of the fuel rail covers to protect them from heat. Ive seen people do it, but i was just wondering if it was nesessary.

ya in a shop which i have to be done and everything cleaned up before night bc my its my fathers shop and he like to keep his stuff inside at night. So i have thursdays off from work thats when i usually do it.
