im selling my driveshaft which has 5 runs on it.. i broke the last one so had one custom made by chicagodriveline.. its 3 inch mild steal,, they use thicker sidewall so its just as strong or even stronger then chromemoly,,, its made for a th400 with a 12bolt rear end. yokes and ujoints and heavy duty ones,,, will hold up to some serious hp 1000hp or so no problem.. i sold my 12 bolt and im putting a 9inch in the car which requires a longer driveshaft so in out of luck.. i paid 300 for this brand new 2-3 months ago and have made 5 passes on it , so its like brand new..
