This is the part that the WS6 cars come equipped with for functional Ram Air. It raises the lid higer than other F bodys to take advantage of the Ram air hood. This is a genuine OEM GM made part off of my car, i no longer need it as i am going turbocharged. I have seen these on there before for around $150, i will sell mine for $120 shipped.
