Default MTI Stage 2e Cylinder Heads

Category: Accessories
Price: $750
Part Fits: 93-02 Chevrolet Camaro, 93-02 Pontiac Firebird, Corvette
Location (State): TX
Item Condition: Used
Engine: LS1/LS6

For sale are a pair of LS1 cylinder heads built by MTI. These are the Stage 2e heads and will produce an extra 30-45 rear wheel horsepower on an LS1 motor, depending on cam and other mods. I bought these new from MTI in the summer of 2006, and I put approximately 25,000 miles on them on my daily driven 2002 Camaro z28. The heads have not been used since September of 2008, when I started a 427 project. They've just been sitting on my garage since then and I’ve been lazy selling them. Valve springs were upgraded to Comp Cams 918s (duals) after about 10,000. The heads are in excellent operating condition, but have not been cleaned up.

MTI was the premier LS1/LS2 tuner in Texas until they changed business models in 2008. Many of their cars were published in various magazines. Their description of the heads is as follows:

"Stage 2E Cylinder Heads
Complete hand porting of intake, and exhaust runners for excellent flow volume & air speed with major bowl work performed. Ferrea 2.02" stainless one piece intake valves, and 1.56" exhaust valves are used in the factory valve seats. High performance dual valve springs coupled with our custom lightweight titanium retainers and specially machined spring cups offer the most stable, and reliable valvetrain. These heads can be milled .030" to increase the compression ratio by 1/2 of a point. This is an excellent street cylinder head with flow numbers approaching 300 CFM on the intake runner and 210+ on the exhaust side. Each set of cylinder heads will come with their own individual flow sheet. If you're looking for a great cylinder head at a great price, look no further. Available for LS2, LS1, LS6, LQ9 and all 5.3L truck castings. See the flow sheet attached to this page for flow data."

I have the flow sheets and original receipts. I also have the pushrods and head studs if you want them. Castings are the 241. Email me if you have questions or would like to see additional pics... I have a bunch, but please only if you're seriously interested.
