This transmission is out of a 2002 SS Camaro. It was professionally built locally here in the Detroit area (2 years ago). Parts are listed below. This trans was built to handle around 600 hp. The transmission was freshened up this past fall w/ 1 full pass on it at the track & about 700 miles driven on it. Total miles on transmission are 22k. This transmission shifts very well w/ firm shifts. At WOT the trans shifts excellent without any hesitation or delay. I am only pulling it due to the fact that I wish to spray the car with nitrous and use a trans-brake, and I feel a 4l80 would be more up to the task. The converter was built locally by PhD converter, they make an excellent unit.
