SLP/AFR 225 65cc heads and msd coils
#23
Are those slp or AFR heads? I have a set of the AFR 205s that I would trade you for the 225s. I'm running a 383 and thinking the 225s would be better. Mine have the upgraded springs good to .650 lift too. And I'm pulling them this weekend too. Let me know because I'm sure you could sell the 205s just as easy if not quicker than the 225s. I will be at the hobby shop on base on sat and sun if your down! Just shoot me a pm.

Digging a little shows that they are 220, not 225cc. "As cast" not CNC ported I guess makes up the difference in the 5cc intake runner volume. And 64 not 65cc chambers. Great heads for a head porter to start with!

tried to call....
i found this on a google search
SLP has teamed up with AFR to bring these CNC-ported street/strip heads to the market. Despite features such as 2.08-inch intake valves and 1.60-inch exhaust valves, they are fully emissions legal--even in California. Flowing up to 320 cfm at 0.600-inch lift, these heads are fully assembled, ready to bolt on, and ready to make power! Like with all AFR head castings, these heads have many high-durability features, like reinforced rocker stud bosses and interlocking ductile iron valve seats. $2,649 makes them yours.

I wonder what the difference is in the ones from SLP for $2649 and the regular AFR #1650 that costs $1875 shipped?
Does SLP port them? Do you have a pic of the intake runners?
