DETAILS ON CLUTCH (READ EVERYTHING!)

I bought this clutch on LS1tech from an ******* (RedHatRdRacer) and was told it had 100 miles and paid $850 for it. I got the clutch installed and it slipped off idle. After taking it apart and measuring all clearances with Textralia it needs some work. The clutch pads are like new and so are the friction surfaces. It has no hot spots or anything and really looks like it has low mileage but have no idea what the deal is. Textralia said I could just mill down the dowels that hold the pressure plate to the flywheel by 54 thousandths and it should work.

You can also send clutch to Textralia and have it re-built for $500 which is what I recommend. You can see how much this clutch costs new and even after paying Textralia to re-build it you will still save about $400 over buying a new one. You can also choose to mill the posts down if you have access to that sort of machinery or have somewhere you can take it.

$450 shipped

Here is a link to a thread I made on LS1Tech about clutch when I was trying to diagnose problem with it.

You would need to send it to Jarrod at Textralia. Think he is in Texas.

Anyone interested in clutch, it would save you shipping costs for me to just ship clutch to Textralia for you if you are going to have it re-built.
