Putting my corvette back to stock, so I'm selling this clutch (Its a bit overkill for a stock z06) I have put about 8k miles on this. Ive run this without problems on my 675rwhp corvette, and I am very happy with the way it worked. Its a very aggressive clutch, with a small engagement point. I don't reccomend this for a casual street car. I will have pictures once it is removed from the car, but I had it out about 100 miles ago. The carbon disks look brand new, and the metal shows only the normal spotting that you get from a carbon fiber clutch.

Asking SOLD Shipped

The retail on this clutch is $4,389 and it is rated to 834 ft/lbs of torque.

Exedy Carbon Triple Clutch Kit Chevrolet Corvette 97-04

Model: GM013SBMC1
Product Information
Exedy Carbon Triple Clutch Kit Chevrolet Corvette 97-04

The flagship model of EXEDY Racing Clutches: the carbon steel multi plate clutches. These clutches are light in weight, durable, and resilient to high heat, contributing to an improvement in track times. These complete bolt on designs require no additional modifications to the vehicle. The carbon materials are baked at more than 2000 degrees celsius which allows the the carbon material to dissipate heat far better than conventional metallic material.

Specs
Number of Discs TRIPLE
Clamp Load (Lbs) 2471
Disc Outer Diameter 225

The metal wear is NORMAL, carbon fiber clutches run hotter than regular clutches, thus causing a "hot spot" pattern on the idler discs and flywheel

Is this assembly lighter than an OEM FW and PP?

That is one hell of a clutch. What made you get a 4500 dollar clutch for a nearly 700 hp car?
Seems odd that they say only 900ish ftlb. I can imagine there is much that can make this slip. GL

Not really sure what you are getting at. I got the clutch cause I was tired of junk clutches that people make not working right so I got something that could handle where I planned on going. Plans changed so I am putting the car back to stock. No need for a clutch like this its overkill on a stock car.

Exedy qouted the torque they qouted because unlike the other clutch companies they built the cluttch for true racing so they are able to take that kind of torque for a sustained amount of time instead of once in awhile. The clutch will last much longer than any other clutches you will buy for this price range.
