While that may be true, who wants to spend $1400 on a set of heads that need more money and work put into them to get to the point of being usable?

I only made my original comment so that an unsuspecting person doesn't see AFR 195 heads being sold for half the price of new, think they are getting an awesome deal and buy them, not knowing that they really aren't in good shape.

The heads worked just fine when they were on his car. GTFO out of here sprayedLT1.

Tricked, quit being a whiny bitch. You got your money back so let it be. I would be pissed as well, BUT, I will say it again. You got your money back. No need to pollute other threads.

I never said they wouldn't work, but they need to be repaired before they are bolted onto an engine. They need to be tig welded up and resurfaced. Since the nicks are right next to the valves, the heat from welding will probably warp the valve seats, so the seats in the chambers being repaired will need to be changed and a valve job done.

Like I said, I'm not talking **** here, I just want people to know what they're going to get themselves into if they buy those heads. I'm just stating the facts man.

Bump on those hooker super comps.

I love mine and they were a breeze to install. They look and fit great.
