Detailed Information

This course is designed for students who have a good working beginners knowledge and are ready to move up to the advanced stage. The included CD-ROM contains live demonstrations of how some of the more involved tables work, as well as videos of advanced tuning sessions. We provide the same type of explanations of how to adjust those tables properly for your type of tune, as we did with the beginners guide. With the CD-ROM, this is not just another book class, and with the year of support via phone, email, and private forum, you are never alone in your tuning.

Students who already have the beginners course will notice the layout of the advanced is different than the beginners version. The Advanced course is broken up by section for the type of tuning you are doing, such as “Idle”, “Part Throttle”, etc…

Topics on the VCM Scanner section of the course include in depth answers and setup for Fuel Trims, Histograms (custom and configuration), Gauges, Table Insertion and custom PID’s including Boost, gas Mileage (MPG), custom triggers & filters, and much more. Effective use of VCM Scanner’s Live commands, for such uses as advanced idle tuning, dyno tuning, etc… More detailed transmission scanning and it’s workings, and much more. There are at least 25 individual VCM Scanner topics included and described for you to learn.

Topics on the VCM Editor section of the course include operating system overwriting, MAF Patches (why and how to), Speed Density tuning (both street and race), Wet and Dry Nitrous Tuning, High Boost (2 or 3 bar) Turbo/Supercharged Tuning of extended VE Boost tables (from custom OS), Correct MAF Calibration, MAF Calibration for new sensors, Knock Sensor improvements, Complex Charge Temp, Realtime Tuning, Fuel Economy Tuning, new 6 speed Automatic tuning, Power tuning the Idle and Part Throttle zones and much more. There are at least 40 Individual VCM Editor topics included and described for you to learn.

This course ships complete with the following items:

The Tuning the Right Way: An Advanced Guide to Tuning GM Vehicles with HP Tuners Software workbook
CD-ROM with detailed help on the more involved tables
One Year of support via phone, email and on-line help from instructors in our forum support
One Year of free course updates (changes/additions to the manual are mailed free of charge)
Price: $479

this is used and I would like to get 300.00 for it or best offer.
