Location (State): NY
Item Condition: Used

Got a steal on this used T56 (Transmission only, no bellhousing when I bought it) from fellow member Jason Short for $700.

Please note, the bellhousing is NOT included. Tranny/shifter only.

I've got my original T56 back and installed so I don't need this one anymore.

As Jason stated when I bought it from him, it has an issue with going into reverse (You have to hold it against reverse as you let out the clutch but after that it's fine) and if you're in 6th on the road and try to downshift to
5th gear it won't do so until you go to 4th(Either just attempting or fully shifting to 4th will make 5th available again). The tranny works fine but really could use a basic refresh. That's why it's only 700 bux (plus shipping if not locally purchased). It comes with the factory shifter.

I'm in the Upstate NY area (Albany) but willing to drive a bit to Rochester or N.J. area for a commited purchase.

Also have an aluminum Fbody driveshaft (no yokes/U-Joints) for $100 plus shipping.

Thanks, I have a pending with the same guy I bought it from. He said he will give me the 700 I paid for it but I have to get him to commit.
I'll let you know...
BTW-where are you located?

THe stock shifter?
It doesn't have the stock shift lever you realize?
Just the base part that bolts to the transmission.

Also, the stock shifter is not the one in the picture. That's my PRO 5.0 shifter I'd already put on there. If you still want it, then $20 plus shipping from zip code 12060.

THanks!

The guy I bought it from says he doesn't have the cash at this time. I offered to hold it for him if he could tell me when he'd have the money but no response from him. So... do you still want it? I'd be shipping it UPS via the method that Tickshift utilizes. That being, a plastic tub/container with packing around it. Not sure what freight is from here to your area.
