The little white connector is just a plug to cover the connector in the tranny. The other part of that thing has a connector that plugs into the car's wiring that is attached to a connector with a resistor to fake out the cars computer epoxied into place

Part of the confusion is that it is not a slp skip shift eliminator, it is a jet cags skip shift eliminator, they are very different so I wasn't sure about it. Also that epoxy looks horrible as if it got way too hot for some reason, but I'll wait till I have it in and see if it works.

I'm sorry about the confusion. It was all my fault, must be getting old. I looked back through my receipts and it was the Jet chip version. It actually is slightly nicer than the SLP version because it includes the tranny plug. I don't know about the epoxy looking bad, because I don't remember what it looked like when it was new. It worked fine for me. If you have any problems or decide you'd like to try something else, I will refund your money.
