for some reason i bought one (cause i broke my old one by stepping on it) and the opening where the air comes in under the filter is only an inch wide, while yours seams to be 2-3 inches wide...y is that? also...how much?

The non ram-air ones don't have as big of an opening. $90 shipped.

Did yo uswap an Ls1 into the car? If it's a Lt1, Then it would not work. $500 for headers, Y-pipe, and turndowns.
