Currently used on the LS9, LS7, LS3, LS2 and this chain is the repalcment chain for all LS1 and LS6 applications using the stock GM timing gears. This is a heavy duty single roller chain that uses an improved alloy
steel and the sideplates have an increased thickness to improve strength. If your are making cam change or a basic freshen-up on your engine, then you should consider replacing the timing chain.
